Jon Elliott, Agent
Jon grew up in Iowa and lived in Arizona for several years before moving to his wife Pam’s native state of Texas. Jon and his wife decided to make Edwards County their home after experiencing the Texas Hill Country’s diversity and unique hunting opportunities. They owned and operated a game ranch a few miles outside of Rocksprings which gave him a good perspective of how to manage a hunting operation.
Prior to becoming an agent with Kerbow Land Company, Jon spent 30+ years in the Army where he served overseas and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 2013. In the Army Jon had oversight of logistics contracts in Afghanistan and gained extensive experience regarding contractual agreements, enabling him to better explain the process to his clients. Jon’s own land purchasing experiences — as well as being a veteran — have given him the contacts and insight to help other veterans find their unique property.
Jon, his wife Pam, along with their three children, call Rocksprings home after duties took them across the country and around the world. Jon is an avid sports fan and is the Vice President of the Edwards County Fair Association, a driver and medic for our local volunteer EMS, the Edwards County Emergency Management Coordinator, and owns and operates a hunting supply store, Downrange Supply.

Sam Silvers, Agent
Sam Silvers is a native Texan who grew up in Salado, where he developed a love for the Texas farms and ranchlands as a child. Sam started working cattle and sheep with his father at the age of 3, and has continued that love for livestock, ranch and land management to this day.
Sam attended Texas Tech University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Leadership in 2007. His passion for West Texas, hunting and the sheep industry led him to Rocksprings, where he served as the Texas AgriLIfe Extension Agent for 6 years. While in Rocksprings he earned his master’s degree in Agriculture Education from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2012. It is Sam’s day-to-day life experiences that bring unparalleled knowledge of wildlife, livestock and natural resources to Kerbow Land Company.
In the spring of 2013 he moved to Kimble County to become their Texas AgriLife Extension Agent. He lives on his family’s ranch with his wife Jurahee and two children Shepherd and State’n — they raise commercial goats, finewool club lambs and manage the hunting of the property.
